We planted seeds into seedtrays last Sunday and I've started writing about it to give myself some much needed moral support! However, after much anticipation; and actually checking the seed trays every hour; the cabbage and cauliflower germinated 6 days later, the next Saturday.
i was really starting to get despondent; but this morning i checked; and our cabbage; cauliflower and swiss chard (spinach) have germinated! It's so so exciting; I feel so proud of them!! All this in less than a week! We actually planted the seeds in the seed trays on Sunday last week, not Saturday; so it only took them 6 days!!No action from the lettuce yet though. I just hope our beans also work in the seedtrays; don't know if we'll be able to re plant them out into the vegetable garden- apparently they have to be sown straight into the soil; along with the radish and carrots... oops; I guess I'll have to read the instructions on the package next time:)
